Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned Technical Business Analyst with a strong blend of business and technical expertise, preferably within the banking, payments, or PCI domain. The ideal candidate will play a key role in bridging the gap between business stakeholders and IT teams, ensuring that technology solutions align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth business and technical analysis to define requirements for projects and initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation including BRDs, functional specifications, and user stories.
- Work closely with development and QA teams to ensure accurate implementation of requirements.
- Utilize SQL/DB queries to analyze and validate data for business insights.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
- Use Splunk for monitoring, troubleshooting, and analyzing data-related issues.
- Identify, track, and assist in resolving issues throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with PCI standards and banking regulations where applicable.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience as a Technical Business Analyst
- Strong experience in banking, payments, or PCI-compliant environments
- Proficiency in SQL and database querying
- Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with Splunk for monitoring and analysis
- Strong understanding of system integration and data flows
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Familiarity with tools like Visual Studio and other requirement management tools
