🧾 Job Description:
We are looking for a Kafka Developer with strong experience in building real-time data streaming solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in Kafka ecosystem tools and a strong background in distributed systems, preferably within healthcare environments.
You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-throughput, fault-tolerant data pipelines and ensuring seamless data flow across multiple systems.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Kafka-based data streaming pipelines
- Build and manage producers, consumers, and Kafka topics
- Implement real-time data ingestion and processing solutions
- Optimize Kafka clusters for performance, scalability, and reliability
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate Kafka with backend systems
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and production issues
- Ensure data consistency, fault tolerance, and low latency
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities
💻 Required Skills:
- Strong experience with Apache Kafka (Kafka Streams, Kafka Connect, Schema Registry)
- Hands-on experience with Java / Scala / Python
- Good understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architecture
- Experience with message serialization (Avro, JSON, Protobuf)
- Knowledge of REST APIs and microservices architecture
- Experience with Linux environments and shell scripting
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)
➕ Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Healthcare domain (EHR, HL7, FHIR)
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with Spark, Flink, or other stream processing frameworks
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
- Understanding of data governance and security practices
