We are open to candidates with either an SAP FICO + RAR or SAP SD + RAR core background. Excellent communication and presentation skills are mandatory for this client-facing position.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End RAR Delivery: Lead SAP RAR implementations, system rollouts, or enhancements for multiple revenue streams across the enterprise.
- Hands-on Configuration: Configure and customize SAP RAR modules alongside core SAP FICO or SAP SD modules to align with business and compliance requirements.
- Multi-Client Architecture: Apply proven best practices learned from past client engagements to architect solutions for complex revenue scenarios (e.g., bundled deals, kitting, returns, and project billing).
- Cross-Functional Integration: Manage the tight integration of SAP RAR with upstream sales/billing engines (SD) and downstream general ledger systems (FICO).
- Stakeholder Advisory: Collaborate closely with corporate finance, sales operations, and senior IT leadership to gather requirements and translate accounting policies into technical realities.
- Communication & Leadership: Clearly articulate technical concepts to non-technical business users and present delivery roadmaps confidently to steering committees.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven RAR Experience: Multiple successful full-lifecycle SAP RAR project implementations completed at a couple of different clients.
- Core Module Pathways: Strong functional expertise in either SAP FICO + RAR or SAP SD + RAR.
- Accounting Compliance: Deep understanding of global revenue recognition standards, specifically IFRS 15 and ASC 606.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to manage stakeholders effectively in a high-stakes environment.
- Onsite Collaboration: Ability to work onsite 3 days a week at one of the designated client offices (Milpitas, Dallas, Austin, or Pittsburgh).
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on implementation experience using SAP S/4HANA.
- Formal SAP certifications in RAR, SD, or FICO.
