Job Title: Cybersecurity Engineer / Consultant

Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage cybersecurity solutions across enterprise environments.
- Monitor security events and incidents using SIEM tools and lead incident response activities.
- Perform vulnerability assessments, penetration testing coordination, and remediation tracking.
- Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices.
- Implement and manage IAM, MFA, PAM, and Zero Trust security controls.
- Secure cloud environments (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP) and ensure compliance with security standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and support regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with IT, network, application, and infrastructure teams to mitigate security risks.
- Perform threat hunting, malware analysis, and forensic investigations when required.
- Create security documentation, reports, and executive-level presentations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- 8+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience.
- Strong experience with SIEM platforms such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, QRadar, or LogRhythm.
- Expertise in vulnerability management tools including Qualys, Nessus, Rapid7, or Tenable.
- Experience with EDR/XDR solutions such as CrowdStrike, Defender for Endpoint, or SentinelOne.
- Strong understanding of network security, firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and endpoint protection.
- Experience securing cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, SOC 2, and PCI-DSS.
- Experience with scripting or automation using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
