Role description:
Are you passionate about delivering high-quality software and automating testing processes? Join our team as a Quality Automation Tester, specializing in API test automation with Playwright.
Responsibilities:
ā¢ Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and other automation tools.
ā¢ Conduct API testing to ensure reliability, performance, and security of backend services.
ā¢ Execute automated and manual test cases as needed; analyze, document, and report test results.
ā¢ Identify, report, and track software defects, working closely with development teams to resolve issues.
ā¢ Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
ā¢ Contribute to test planning, requirement analysis, and continuous improvement of the test strategy.
Requirements:
ā¢ Proven experience in software quality assurance, with expertise in test automation.
ā¢ Hands-on experience with Playwright for end-to-end testing.
ā¢ Strong background in API testing (REST, SOAP, etc.) using automation and test management tools.
ā¢ Knowledge of CI/CD tools and processes (such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps). ā¢ Proficiency in a programming language (JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python preferred). ā¢ Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. ā¢ Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. ā¢ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to Have:
ā¢ Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
ā¢ Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
