Title: Solutions Architect
Visa Status: USC / GC Only
Location: Reston, VA (Hybrid) DMV Area Candidates Only
Onsite 1 day per week required. PI Planning occurs every quarter and requires 2 days onsite participation
Duration: 12+ Months Contract

Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Solutions Architect who can translate Enterprise Architecture vision into actionable solution designs for Application Architects and development teams to execute. This role requires strong healthcare insurance domain expertise and the ability to align business strategies with scalable technical solutions.
Key Requirements:
• Healthcare Insurance / Payor experience is mandatory
• Experience within Claims, Enrollment, Benefits, or related healthcare insurance domains
• Strong understanding of AWS Cloud and cloud migration concepts
• Ability to ensure on-premise solutions can effectively extend into cloud environments
• Strong business acumen and ability to translate business requirements into high-level architecture solutions
• Excellent presentation and communication skills with experience presenting solutions to VP-level and executive stakeholders
• Ability to explain architectural decisions from both business and technical perspectives
Required Skills:
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• 8+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect
• Healthcare Industry experience in Claims and/or Enrollment domains

Core Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to develop high-quality solutions within a SAFe/Agile environment.
• Translate business strategies into scalable technical solutions.
• Align new capabilities with enterprise architecture standards, approved technologies, and organizational guidelines.
• Align solution designs with product management roadmaps.
• Provide end-to-end architecture design for new products, features, and capabilities.
• Lead and author architecture design documentation.
• Collaborate with architecture teams across multiple domains.
• Create architecture and design documents that development teams will follow for implementation.
• Resolve architecture and design issues prior to development.
• Maintain accountability for end-to-end design and roadmap delivery of new product capabilities.
• Coach, mentor, and develop architects and engineers.
• Manage cross-domain architecture solutions and challenges.
• Apply architecture frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.
