Project Overview
Primary initiative: Migration from MarkLogic ā MongoDB (Atlas)
Building an operational data store / transactional cache (-focused)
Goal is to create a centralized, repeatable system for ingesting data (claims systems)
Broader use cases include:
AI enablement
Data lake integration
Consolidated data access layer
Day to Day
Mix of:
Data modeling / schema design
Migration work (MarkLogic ā MongoDB)
Performance tuning / optimization
Heavy emphasis on building the platform correctly from the ground up
Some involvement in ongoing migration efforts as system evolves
Must-Haves
Strong MongoDB experience (especially Atlas)
Experience with:
Data modeling
MarkLogic experience or similar NoSQL systems
Migration work
Performance tuning
Strong communication skills (team + stakeholder collaboration)
Proficient with Python/JavaScript
Experience working with large amounts of data and ETL tools
MarkLogic cluster is 500 Terabytes
Cloud experience
GCP and AWS preferred
Nice-to-Haves
Understanding how it performs / translates is valuable
Experience in regulated environments
Healthcare preferred but not required
