Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and business-focused ServiceNow Functional Analyst to act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams. This role is responsible for translating business requirements into effective ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, HRSD, and ITOM modules. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in functional analysis, stakeholder engagement, and end-to-end delivery, including UAT and release readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Conduct requirement gathering sessions and translate business needs into detailed functional specifications.
- Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, and support backlog management in Agile environments.
- Design and validate workflows, SLAs, service catalog items, and assignment rules.
- Support full SDLC lifecycle including sprint planning, solution reviews, UAT coordination, and release readiness.
- Define test cases, facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and validate outcomes.
- Ensure adherence to governance, documentation, and change management standards.
- Assist with incident triage, root cause analysis, data mapping for integrations, and CMDB alignment.
- Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPIs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, architects, service desk, and operations.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in systems analysis, business analysis, or application development.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITSM, HRSD, and ITOM modules.
- Strong background in requirements gathering and functional design.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum and SDLC environments.
- Proven experience managing and supporting UAT activities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- End-to-end ServiceNow implementation or support experience.
- Strong exposure to stakeholder-facing roles and business process alignment.
- Candidates who are fully compliant and ready for immediate submission.
