Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to lead the design and development of scalable cloud-based software solutions with a strong focus on Conversational AI. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership, drive architectural decisions, mentor engineering teams, and build high-quality software systems while collaborating closely with business and technical stakeholders in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Create a technical vision that supports both short-term and long-term business objectives.
- Ensure the long-term quality, maintainability, and scalability of software design and code.
- Design, develop, and own critical software components.
- Lead hands-on development activities, including design reviews and code reviews.
- Deploy, support, and maintain large-scale production software while ensuring operational excellence.
- Apply engineering best practices with expertise in performance, scalability, and distributed architectures.
- Translate business requirements into scalable software solutions in an Agile environment.
- Serve as the technical lead for complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- Advise leadership on technical strategy and architectural decisions.
- Mentor engineers on advanced technical topics and support the growth of engineering teams.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience designing and building software engineering solutions in cloud environments.
- 10+ years of experience with one or more modern programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, JavaScript, or SQL.
- 10+ years of experience developing APIs, microservices, and modern software architecture patterns.
- 5+ years of experience gathering complex requirements and managing relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of Conversational AI technologies, including:
- Chatbots
- Voice Assistants
- Large Language Models (LLMs)
- Speech-to-Text (STT)
- Text-to-Speech (TTS)
- Natural Language Understanding (NLU)
- Natural Language Processing (NLP)
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical and strategic concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) and applying them to conversational AI solutions.
- Experience developing and supporting voice and text chatbot applications.
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, or a related field is preferred.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent work experience) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Data Analytics, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- Master's Degree preferred.
