Key Skills/Responsibilities:-
- Design, develop, and maintain robust Selenium WebDriver frameworks for UI automation, ensuring scalable and maintainable test architecture.
- Build and enhance API automation suites using Karate for RESTful services.
- Expert-level proficiency in Selenium WebDriver (Java) and hands-on experience with Karate DSL for end‑to‑end API automation.
- Hands-on experience with Karate API automation (Karate DSL, Karate UI optional).
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, XML, and microservices to design effective test strategies across distributed systems..
- Experience with version control tools (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and build tools (Maven/Gradle).
- Solid understanding of test frameworks like TestNG or JUnit.
- Implement reusable automation components, utilities, and libraries to improve test efficiency.
- Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
- Analyze automation results, identify root causes, and collaborate with developers for quick resolution.
- Leverage Karate DSL to validate API responses, request/response structures, and service-level behaviors across microservices.
- Apply banking domain knowledge to test workflows related to payments, transactions, onboarding, compliance, and risk checks, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and business analysts to refine requirements and acceptance criteria, actively contribute to Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and estimation
