AEM Technical Project Manager
Position Overview
The AEM Technical Project Manager drives end-to-end technical delivery and serves as a Technical PM for Adobe Experience Manager projects, leading sprint planning, backlog grooming, and cross-functional coordination across Adobe Experience Cloud products and enterprise platforms. This role provides project leadership, delivery management, and technical guidance to development teams on the AEM Sites platform. Additionally, the Manager oversees DAM governance—ensuring digital assets are systematically organized, tagged, and managed to facilitate page publishing, enterprise reuse, searchability, and localization readiness. By establishing robust metadata discipline, agile execution frameworks, and streamlined delivery models, the role continually enhances operational efficiency and accelerates time-to-market.
Key Responsibilities & Skill Requirements
Technical Delivery & Team Leadership: Lead scalable end-to-end technical implementations across AEM Sites, DAM, and connected enterprise systems. Define high-level product specifications, sprint goals, and delivery roadmaps focusing on system integration and project feasibility.
Client Engagement & Technical Project Management: Own overall technical delivery, lead agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily standups with customer teams, and collaborate with developers and stakeholders to align technical scope with delivery timelines.
AI-Powered Migrations & Page Rollouts: Leverage AI platform capabilities to manage and execute seamless AEM content migrations, automated workflow integrations, and end-to-end page migrations—covering planning, execution, validation, SEO alignment, and production readiness.
Asset Governance & DAM Optimization: Establish strong DAM and metadata discipline to improve searchability, asset availability, and localization readiness. Ensure assets are correctly tagged, validated, and governed for publishing, reducing rollout delays in partnership with publication teams.
Best Practices & Governance: Enforce AEM best practices across the development lifecycle to minimize technical debt and promote long-term system health.
Problem Solving & Lifecycle Management: Apply deep problem-solving and debugging expertise across end-to-end systems development life cycles (SDLC), managing technical risks and delivery dependencies.
