Job Description:
The Vendor Management/ Portfolio Analyst Consultant assists in leading the day-to-day operations of the Office of the CIO. This IS department defines and maintains the Information Services Department's core management functions.
The Vendor Management Consultant reports to the Portfolio Manager and collaborates closely with the Portfolio Manager and Senior Director of the CIO.
Job Requirements:
- 9+ years’ related experience
- Microsoft Excel (Proficiency: Advanced)
- Microsoft PowerPoint (Proficiency: Advanced)
- Microsoft Visio (Proficiency: Intermediate)
- Experience with ServiceNow SPM, ITSM and SAM
- Experience with Project Portfolio Management and ITIL framework
- Strong project management and planning capabilities
- Financial/Business analysis techniques and strong problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and oral business communications skills
- Strong ability to interface/communicate with all levels of management, especially leadership
- Self-starter with the ability to manage time effectively, work independently, and deal with ambiguity
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented and attention to quality
- Experience with ServiceNow ITSM, SPM, SAM
- ITIL, PMP certification a plus

Education Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Key Job Responsibilities
Under the direction and oversight of the Portfolio Manager:
- Supports the day-to-day operations of the Office of the CIO – Vendor and Portfolio Management team
- Coordinates and ensures team SLAs and activities are being addressed appropriately
- Supports the Portfolio Manager by addressing incoming inquiries or issues and escalates as appropriate.
- Supports oversight of vendor contracts and renewals.
- Should have strong vendor management experience
- Supports oversight of legal intake and the legal review process
- Tracks vendor expenses and identifies and highlights anomalies
- Using different data sources demonstrates the ability to create meaningful reporting
- Create PowerPoint decks/presentations for management/executive audience
- Proven ability to interact and communicate with all levels of management, especially leadership
- Ability to identify and develop solutions for continuous process improvement
- Ability to lead, facilitate, and coordinate meetings, as needed and directed by the Portfolio Manager
- Represents in an ethical and business-like professional manner in all interactions with growers, co-workers, suppliers, customers and the business community.
