Job Title: AI/ML Solution Architect – Retail
Location: Atlanta, GA
Duration: 12+ months Contract
Job Description:
- Translate business goals into a sequenced transformation roadmap (assortment, inventory, forecasting, pricing signals, replenishment adjacencies).
- Solution Architecture Own the end-to-end design across process, data, analyticsML, and apps.
- AILLM Enablement Frame use cases, evaluation metrics, human-in-the-loop workflows, explainability standards, and productionization patterns.
- Value Realization Build business cases, define KPIsOKRs, and track benefits publish monthly value dashboards to leadership.
- Stakeholder Management Act as the single point of accountability for GPC leaders coordinate with Internal team and boutique vendors, plus product vendors.
- Delivery Governance Run POD rituals, riskissue management, release planning, and dependency orchestration with cross-functional teams.
- Change Enablement Drive adoption (playbooks, training, change impacts) across MerchAssortment and Supply Chain operations
Preferred Skills:
- Retail CPG merchandising, clustering, space/planogram awareness, price promo signals.
- Exposure to Vertex, IBM SPSS legacy transitions, and custom product platforms (e.g., PULSE).
- Partner ecosystem orchestration (multi-vendor models near/offshore).
- Certifications CSCPCPIM (ASCM), PMPPrince2, TOGAF, SAFe, or equivalent.
- Tools Tech (nice to have)Cloud dataAI stacks (AzureAWSGCP), DatabricksSnowflake, MLflow, Feature Store, API gateways.
- AnalyticsBI (Power BITableau), AB testing frameworks, observability (logsmetricstraces).
Education: At least a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related field is required for the project
