Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Data Transformation Architecture
- Design, optimize, and standardize complex ETL/ELT data transformation frameworks.
- Build scalable data processing solutions using Google Cloud Dataflow (Apache Beam), Dataproc, and dbt.
- Process and transform large-scale structured and unstructured datasets efficiently.
- Data Lineage & Governance
- Date & Time-Series Data Management
- Architect date and time-based partitioning strategies for large-scale datasets.
- Design and implement temporal data models, including SCD Type 2 and bitemporal data architectures.
- Develop sliding time-window aggregations and support late-arriving event processing for both batch and real-time pipelines.
- Modern GCP Data Platform Design
- Lead the modernization and migration of enterprise Data Lakes and Data Warehouses on Google BigQuery.
- Define optimal schema design, partitioning, clustering, and performance optimization strategies.
- Drive cost-efficient and scalable cloud data platform architectures.
- Security, Compliance & Governance
- Establish robust data governance frameworks and audit logging practices.
- Implement IAM policies, data access controls, and security best practices.
- Enforce column-level and row-level security to ensure regulatory compliance across all data layers.
