Position: SAP Production Planning Consultant

Location: Houston, TX

Duration: Contract

100% Onsite – No Remote- Hybrid

Job Description:

Must have and good to have skills:
Exp of 15+ with domain Exp(Oil& Gas) with lubricant(desired) and Production Planning and SAP PP
Exp in gathering documentation, implementation, testing of the assigned area functionality and coordinating all applicable areas of functional overlap
Exp in Validating as-is and to-be process flows and system integration from a user perspective
Identify potential work-arounds to system changes or limitations
Exp in Documenting and configuring SAP modules to meet business requirements
Lead planning team in driving significant improvements in forecast accuracy, inventory turnover, and on-time-delivery OTD performance
Possess solid communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to write highly detailed functional specifications for outputs and new custom functionality
Exp in Leading the discovery and gap analysis workshops
Ability to identify custom SAP object lists
Exp in Conducting knowledge transfer to key client subject matter experts
Coordinate production workflow for one or multiple products
Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
Determine manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand
Assign workers and other staff to particular production operations
Schedule shift according to production needs
Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget
Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption
Obtain output information (number of finished products, percentage of defectives etc.)
Prepare and submit status and performance reports
Keep paperwork organized
Collaborate with quality control, warehouse and other staff
Coordinating production workflow for one or multiple products
