role delivers software and data integration enhancements to improve reliability of daily operational processes of IT Business Solutions platforms that maximize uptime, and efficiency, predicting, preventing and analyzing failures. They also research, design, analyze and collaborate to implement solutions to provide greater reliability leading to continuous improvement and innovation of business processes. They provide data driven RCAs to reduce operational costs.
· Properly monitor and analyze deployed systems to support SRE and regulatory requirements.
· Provide detailed SRE documentation for procedural, planning and reporting purposes.
· Communicate clearly, collaborate continuously, and monitor performance of vendors; escalate SRE issues appropriately.
Required Qualifications:
· 7+ Years of Software Engineering and Infrastructure/Database Engineering experience with strong skills in: DevSecOps; Observability Platforms; API Integrations; Performance Management Tools; ITIL Principles; ITSM Data Analytics; Metric, Event, Log and Transaction (MELT) Data collection and analysis.
· Possess strong communication skills to build relationships and influence change.
· Continuous improvement mindset with eye for reliability.
· Work Collaboratively.
· Strong analytical, problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience with programming languages, cloud platforms, log collection and analytics (observability), automation, networking and security. Proficiency in but not limited to Python, Excel and SQL and Reliability maintenance and analytic tools.
· Experience with Agile Scrum methodology.
· Knowledge and experience with Reliability centered engineering and maintenance.
