About the Role: 
MDHS is seeking an experienced Applinx Web Developer to maintain modernized web applications built for legacy systems while making limited functional enhancements as needed. You will collaborate closely with internal staff, testing and implementing changes while delivering hands-on knowledge transfer to empower the team long-term.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and enhance Applinx web development designs across JAWS and MAVERICS legacy applications.
• Establish, support, and administer Applinx servers, designer seats, and NATAPX hosts using industry best practices.
• Collaborate directly with business customers to formulate, refine, and build technical requirements.
• Develop, test, and deploy robust web components using Java, JSP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Provide comprehensive knowledge transfer and documentation to enable MDHS staff to support systems independently.

Required Skills:

• 7+ years of hands-on software development experience with Java.
• Extensive experience building, configuring, and maintaining ApplinX solutions (specifically version 11 or later).
• Strong frontend web development skills including JSP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Practical experience working within Linux RHEL 8.10 and Adabas database environments.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, QA testing approaches, and structured application lifecycles.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills to structure high-performing applications and articulate concepts to stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Software AG Command Language (SCL).
• Experience with SQL Server databases and Jira Software.
