Location: Costa Mesa, CA (Onsite)

Duration: 6 months

• 6+ years of experience in analysis, coding, implementation, and testing of Big Data applications (API & Batch) on AWS Cloud

• Strong experience with Java, Scala, Kotlin, Python, Cassandra, Hadoop, HDFS, Spark, and MapReduce

• 8–10 years of coding experience in Scala

• 6–8 years of experience in Spark development

• Proficient in PySpark and REST API development

• Hands-on experience with AWS services including EMR, EC2, ECS, S3, Airflow, Step Functions, and API Gateway

• Skilled in developing and tuning batch applications using Spark, Hadoop, EMR, Java, and Python

• Experience with Linux environments including shell scripting and Python scripting

• Strong understanding of REST API and SOAP web services

• Extensive experience in performance tuning and optimization of big data pipelines

• Ability to work with microservices architecture on AWS

• Familiarity with data engineering best practices and cloud-native development
