Position – AI Dev Ops Engineer
Location: – Charlotte, NC – 3 days from office mandate

About the Role
We are seeking an AI Platform Engineer to design and implement scalable CI/CD pipelines and runtime infrastructure supporting MCP services, agent-based systems, RAG pipelines, and enterprise AI workloads. The ideal candidate brings strong DevOps foundations combined with hands-on experience in Kubernetes/OpenShift, service mesh, observability, and secure deployment practices for building a production-grade AI platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for AI applications, MCP services, agents, and RAG pipelines using GitHub Actions, Harness, and/or Azure DevOps
- Author and maintain CD repository YAML files including Kubernetes/OpenShift
- Automate AI build, test, regression, and deployment workflows end-to-end to increase deployment velocity
- Create reusable pipeline templates and self-service deployment blueprints
- Drive GitOps and pipeline-as-code adoption across AI teams
- Manage OpenShift environments across Dev, UAT, and Prod
- Manage secure secrets using HashiCorp Vault with secure injection into pipelines and runtime environments
- Design and manage load balancing (including AVI), Ingress/Egress traffic controls, and OpenShift Routes
- Define and enforce Kubernetes Network Policies for secure service communication
- Apply a security-focused mindset to automate deployments across environments
- Embed security controls into pipelines including secrets management, vulnerability scanning, and policy enforcement
- Integrate automated testing frameworks into pipelines for APIs, AI services, and integration workflows (e.g., Playwright)
Required Qualifications (visible portion)
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or Harness)
- Proficient in authoring YAML-based workflow files, pipeline definitions, and CD configurations
- Hands-on experience with OpenShift / Kubernetes and Docker containerization
- Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform, Helm, ArgoCD)
- Experience with ConfigMaps and HashiCorp Vault (or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of load balancing, Ingress/Egress, Network Policies, and Istio Service Mesh
- Hands-on experience with Splunk and Grafana
- Understanding of secure deployment practices
Desired Qualifications (AI DevOps Engineer):
- Experience supporting AI/ML, LLM-based systems, MCP services, or RAG pipelines
- Familiarity with agent architectures and LLMOps / model lifecycle management
- Experience with OpenTelemetry and distributed tracing
- Experience with GSLB / multi-datacenter traffic management
