ROLE SUMMARY
Support the Bankers Fidelity data strategy assessment by eliciting and documenting business and data requirements, bridging business stakeholders and the technical team to shape semantic layer and reporting needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to capture business goals, pain points, and reporting/analytics needs across L&H lines of business.
- Document current-state data flows, reports/dashboards (Qlik Sense, QlikView), and business rules.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and data requirements to inform semantic layer design.
- Partner with the Product Manager and Data Engineers to validate data mappings, definitions, and KPI logic.
- Support gap analysis between the current state and the target data strategy roadmap.
- Maintain requirement traceability, RAID logs, and assessment documentation.
- Help prepare findings and recommendation materials for client presentations.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years as a Business Analyst, including direct experience on data strategy or data-focused engagements.
- Domain experience in Life & Health insurance (products, policy administration, claims, or actuarial data).
- Hands-on experience working with Qlik Sense / QlikView reports and dashboards.
- Strong requirement elicitation, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Comfortable working onsite with client teams in Atlanta, GA.
NICE TO HAVE
- Exposure to Snowflake and/or Coalesce.
- Experience supporting semantic layer or data model definition.
- Insurance industry certifications (e.g., LOMA) or equivalent domain training.
