Overview:
Own the detailed design, supportability, and operational readiness of network solutions across the environment. Ensure network implementations are resilient, supportable, and aligned with the architecture standards, guardrails, and lifecycle direction defined by the Network Solution Owner
Accountable For
Detailed network solution designs and implementation patterns.
Operational supportability and resilience of network solutions.
Network design documentation and technical standards implementation.
Factory-specific and environment-specific network design requirements.
Design validation for network-related projects and changes.
Alignment of detailed designs with approved architecture standards and guardrails.
Accurate network dependency mapping and operational documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Translate business and technical requirements into detailed network solution designs.
Ensure network solutions meet operability, availability, resilience, and supportability requirements.
Maintain detailed design documentation, implementation standards, and technical design records.
Support project teams during design, build, testing, and transition-to-run activities.
Work closely with the Network Solution Owner to ensure solutions adhere to approved architecture, standards, and lifecycle direction.
Ensure factory and site-specific requirements are reflected in network designs.
Support dependency mapping, service mapping, and operational readiness activities.
Participate in design reviews and provide technical recommendations for network-related initiatives.
Support risk assessments, continuity planning, and recovery design activities from a network perspective.

Escalate designs to the Network Solution Owner when: New architecture patterns are introduced, Approved standards are deviated from., Gross-domain or cross-site impacts exist, Security, compliance, or connectivity implications require architectural review.
