🔧 Role Overview
As an SD-WAN Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting secure and high-performance SD-WAN and network infrastructure solutions across enterprise environments. You will work closely with client teams and internal engineering groups to ensure seamless connectivity, security, and operational stability.
💡 Key Responsibilities
✔ Design, deploy, and manage SD-WAN solutions ensuring high availability and performance
✔ Configure and maintain Fortinet SD-WAN and ADVPN environments using FortiGate and FortiManager
✔ Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize connectivity
✔ Support firewall and security infrastructure across enterprise environments
✔ Perform VPN troubleshooting, packet analysis, and network diagnostics
✔ Collaborate with customers and engineering teams for incident resolution and support
✔ Maintain network documentation, configurations, and upgrade procedures
✔ Ensure network security, compliance, and operational best practices
✔ Support ticket resolution and incident management activities
✔ Assist in network testing, validation, and deployment activities
🧠 Required Skills & Experience
✅ Strong hands-on experience in SD-WAN technologies (Fortinet preferred)
✅ Expertise in FortiGate firewalls, FortiManager, and ADVPN
✅ Experience with Cisco routers, switches, and Nexus environments
✅ Knowledge of Palo Alto and/or Firepower firewalls
✅ Strong understanding of VPNs, routing, and network troubleshooting
✅ Ability to perform packet capture (PCAP) and log analysis
✅ Experience with wireless networking (Cisco 802.11, controllers)
✅ Familiarity with enterprise networking tools and ticketing systems (Cherwell preferred)
✅ Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills
