Role: Observability Architect/ LogicMonitor SME

location: Libertyville, IL

Contract

Lead the design, deployment, and optimization of LogicMonitor monitoring and alerting solutions across Azure-based Critical Manufacturing MES environments, covering Pre-Production and Production systems.

Implement monitoring for key platform components including AKS/Kubernetes, SQL Server (Online, ODS, DWH), Azure Event Hub/Kafka, RabbitMQ, ClickHouse, Grafana, Stimulsoft, and Azure infrastructure services.

Configure application, database, integration, and synthetic transaction monitoring, including MES services, Boomi integrations, SAP S/4HANA interfaces, API response times, and end-to-end business process visibility.

Develop custom LogicMonitor DataSources, dashboards, alert thresholds, escalation policies, and reporting to provide proactive incident detection, performance monitoring, and capacity planning.

Provide monitoring architecture documentation, operational runbooks, knowledge transfer, and production go-live support while establishing performance baselines and monitoring best practices.
