Experience interfacing Trapeze with Workday. Trapeze is an Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) tool that’s prevalent in the Transit Industry.
In their environment on the Finance side, their operations group drive vehicles and maintain them. Their maintenance group has an EAM System (Trapeze) and one of the things they decided when they went on FIN was to stand Trapeze up on its own and interfaced it to WDAY for supplier information (Invoicing, etc.). The logic at the time was it was too big of a change to reposition the EAM so it would fit into the Workday platform. At the time, this solution worked, but now when they are operating, they have issues with supplier invoicing (over accruing, etc.). The integrations between the two systems aren’t working the greatest and they now want WDAY to be system of record for procurement, and then interface back to Trapeze for work orders, inventory, etc.
