Job Role: Window Lead/Manager
Location: Denver CO or Austin TX (Onsite Role)
- Strong understanding of Windows CE operating system architecture and API, including real-time features.
- Experience with embedded Visual Tools or Visual Studio for Windows CE development.
- Proficiency in C/C++ Programming Languages used for the embedded system.
- Expertise in dial-up modem integration and troubleshooting, including understanding AT commands and network protocols.
- Strong knowledge of UDP , TCP and TLS networking, including configuration, troubleshooting, and potential real-time considerations.
- Experience in integrating and managing peripherals connected via RS232 and USB ports.
- Understanding of Magnetic Stripe Reader (MSR) data acquisition and processing, potentially including handling encrypted data from sources like credit cards.
- Knowledge of touch screen functionality and user interface development for embedded systems.
- Strong knowledge of relational database systems, SQL Server, including SQL for querying, manipulation, and analysis.
- Expertise in database administration tasks like designing schemas, and creating SQL scripts.
- Familiarity with ODBC connections for database integration.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals and protocols like TCP/IP, crucial for troubleshooting communication between terminals and the server.
- Experience with dial-up and Ethernet communications, essential for the transactional nature of the updates and downloads.
