SAP SuccessFactors & SAP ECC HCM Payroll Production Support Consultant

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 production support for SAP SuccessFactors and SAP ECC HCM Payroll (on-premise).
   
• Support end-to-end payroll processing, including pre-payroll, payroll runs, post-payroll activities, and reconciliation.
   
• Monitor production systems and resolve incidents, defects, and service requests within SLA timelines.
   
• Analyze payroll and HR issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes.
   
• Handle configuration and functional support for SAP HCM Payroll, Time Management, and Personnel Administration.
   
• Support SuccessFactors modules (Employee Central, EC Payroll integration, or related modules as applicable).
   
• Manage interfaces and integrations between SuccessFactors and SAP ECC (SFPI, CPI, IDocs, reports).
   
• Coordinate with SAP Basis, ABAP, and infrastructure teams for transports, jobs, and system issues.
   
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end payroll activities.
   
• Ensure compliance with payroll regulations, audits, and internal controls.
   
• Prepare and maintain support documentation, SOPs, and knowledge articles.
   
• Participate in change management, testing, and deployment activities.
   
• Communicate effectively with business users, HR, payroll stakeholders, and external vendors.
   

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP ECC HCM Payroll (On-Premise).
   
• Experience supporting SAP SuccessFactors, preferably Employee Central.
   
• Proven background in production support / application support (L2/L3).
   
• Solid understanding of payroll processes, schemas, PCRs, and wage types.
   
• Experience with payroll integrations between SuccessFactors and ECC.
   
• Strong incident management and troubleshooting skills.
   
• Familiarity with SAP transport management and system landscapes.
   
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
   
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production support environment.
   

Nice to Have

• Experience with multiple country payrolls.
   
• Exposure to EC Payroll or SAP HCM S/4HANA.
   
• Knowledge of SAP CPI / Integration Center.
   
• ITIL certification or structured support process experience.
   
• Prior experience in large enterprise or global payroll environments.
   

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
   
• SAP HCM / SuccessFactors certification is a plus.
