Job Summary

A Systems Analyst is responsible for analyzing business requirements, evaluating existing systems, and designing technology solutions that improve business processes and operational efficiency. This role serves as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that technology solutions align with organizational objectives and business needs.

 

Required Qualifications

•                 Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.

•                 3+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, or in a related IT role.

•                 Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.

•                 Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting both business and technical requirements.

•                 Knowledge of databases, system integrations, APIs, and enterprise applications.

•                 Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

•                 Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with business and technical stakeholders.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Visio, Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar project management and documentation tools.

Key Responsibilities

•                 Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.

•                 Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.

•                 Evaluate existing systems and recommend enhancements or new technology solutions.

•                 Prepare functional specifications, process flows, use cases, and system documentation.

•                 Work closely with developers, testers, project managers, and business teams throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

•                 Participate in system design, configuration, integration, implementation, and deployment activities.

•                 Conduct system testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and support defect identification and resolution.

•                 Provide post-implementation support and coordinate issue resolution with technical teams.

•                 Troubleshoot application and system issues to ensure minimal business disruption.

•                 Ensure solutions comply with organizational standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements.

•                 Develop user documentation, training materials, and support end-user adoption of new systems.

• Monitor system performance and recommend continuous process and system improvements.

Preferred Skills

•                 Experience working in cross-functional Agile teams.

•                 Familiarity with business process modeling and workflow analysis.

•                 Understanding of data analysis, reporting, and system integration concepts.

•                 Experience supporting enterprise applications and digital transformation initiatives.

•                 Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
