Experience around 8-15 years, mid or level to senior level depending on the scope.

Required Skills and Experience
Strong experience in infrastructure operations, including servers, storage, and networking topology.
- Solid hands-on experience with Linux system administration
- Expertise with job scheduling (Slurm/PCS) and EDA tool flows (Cadence/ Synopsys/ Siemens)
- Experience with high-performance shared storage (FSx/NFS)
- Familiarity with IaC and GitHub
- Exposure to automation, scripting, and infrastructure management tools.
- Familiarity with monitoring, alerting, and incident management processes.
- Ability to execute operational tasks reliably and follow structured procedures.
- Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate across teams.
- Work on-site, with once a month on call

Role Summary
The Systems Engineer role is responsible for ensuring the stable, secure, and efficient operation of compute, storage, and network infrastructure of the EDA platform of one of our customers.Â
This role focuses on day‑to‑day operations, reliability, capacity, and incident response, working closely with platform, infrastructure, and engineering teams to support production and development workloads.

Key Responsibilities
Maintaining and hardening the Linux EDA compute environment: job scheduler configuration/optimization/monitoring (Slurm/PCS), EDA tool installation and module management (Cadence, Siemens, Synopsys and LMOD), license server (FlexLM) setup, FSx ONTAP storage provisioning and tuning, GitHub-based repo and CI workflows for design data, and onboarding support for the design teams.

Preferred Skills
Experience working in regulated or high‑availability production environments.
Experience with semiconductor environments and EDA workloads.Â
