SOX/SOC Compliance Lead

Summary: 
We are seeking an experienced Compliance Manager with a strong background in compliance and cloud migration to lead a high-impact enterprise initiative (data center migration to Azure cloud). This role will work closely with technical teams and multiple stakeholders to ensure smooth execution while maintaining strict adherence to SOX/SOC compliance standards. The ideal candidate will work with the application owners, architects, and stakeholders to ensure that all applications are migrated properly from a SOX/SOC compliance perspective.  You will be responsible for attending 3 sets of meetings per application ahead of rollout and reporting progress completion to high-level executives and stakeholders.

 

Must-Have Qualifications

• 8+ years of SOX/SOC Compliance experience

• Strong understanding of SOX / SOC compliance and its application in IT projects and review of workpapers
• Proven experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination
• Familiarity with cloud migration projects, preferably Azure
• Excellent organizational, communication, and risk management skills
• Background in large, enterprise-level organizations

 

Preferred / Plus Qualifications

• Background in SOX/SOC compliance testing

• Experience with data center migrations specifically to Azure
• Background in IT compliance or working closely with compliance teams
• Knowledge of cloud security and governance frameworks
