Role: Solution Architect (Analyst)
Duration: Contract
Location: Remote
JD for Onshore Solution Architect (Analyst) position:
UDL is a complex data aggregation and normalization engine with over 30 source system data feeds.
Translated data is formatted into a standardized data model to represent order status information for the company.
The desired candidate will have strong analytical and data modeling skills with an emphasis on rules engine development.
Analyst Skills
Ability to develop software solutions and architectural changes based on business requirements
Deep knowledge of Drools Rules Engine development
Ability to create process diagrams and system modeling diagrams
Ability to perform data mapping relationships for complex object definitions
Ability to normalize data structures into generic consumable models
Data Skills
Database experience with relational databases (Postgres, Oracle, MySql)
Database experience with noSql databases
Database experience with datalake technologies (Spark, Hive, Impala)
experience writing complex SQL queries
experience generating and documenting database entities
Soft Skills for all Roles
Open communication (Ability to articulate issues/concerns/recommendations)
Proactive Attitude (Go getter with a positive attitude)
Ability to understand technical concepts quickly
Ability to work within a team and collaborate
