Job Title: Snowflake Architect +DBT
Location: Coppell, TX – Hybrid – 2/3 days per Week
Mode: Contract
Snowflake Architect with DBT expertise to lead the design, development, and optimization of enterprise-scale cloud data warehouse solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in Snowflake architecture, Data Build Tool (DBT), cloud platforms, data modeling, and modern data engineering practices within a highly regulated financial services environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and implement scalable data warehouse solutions using Snowflake.
- Develop and manage data transformation pipelines using DBT (Data Build Tool).
- Create and maintain logical and physical data models supporting business intelligence and analytics initiatives.
- Design ELT/ETL processes for integrating data from multiple source systems.
- Optimize Snowflake performance, security, cost management, and scalability.
- Implement best practices for data governance, data quality, metadata management, and lineage tracking.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, analysts, and enterprise architects to define data strategies.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for DBT deployments and Snowflake objects.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance and production issues.
- Ensure compliance with banking industry regulations, security standards, and audit requirements.
- Mentor development teams on Snowflake architecture, data modeling, and DBT development standards.
