Description of Work:

We are currently seeking a highly experienced individual to help lead our ServiceNow platform practice to assist our client with their digital transformation efforts. The ideal individual will have deep experience with enterprise solution architectures with a variety of technologies, but focused in low-code/no-code environments such as ServiceNow. We are seeking an individual who possess a unique balance of technical depth and strong interpersonal skills to build innovative business solutions using the ServiceNow platform. The Lead System Architect role is a thought leader who should possess a proven track record of leading technical design in collaboration with business and other technologists. Work will include design and build components of enterprise applications and provide consultative guidance on all project assignments for our clients. Working on-site at a customer location, this role will work as part of a project team to ensure that the business and technical architecture of the delivered solution matches customer requirements.

The ServiceNow System Architect (LSA) will support a Center of Excellence (COE) that, through the delivery and reporting of Platform key services, can help bridge the layers in the Platform governance model to ensure optimal opportunity to drive value as well as ensuring issues and risks are properly escalated.

As a member of the cross-domain support team, the LSA will support stakeholders in planning and implementing the ServiceNow Platform in Digital transformation and IT modernization, and digital process automation initiatives through:
Clear strategic vision and approach to projects
Establishing and fostering partnership and trust between the Business and Systems
Integrating process optimization and innovation engineering efforts into projects
Defining and promoting best practices around technologies
Creating and maintaining architectural standards
Promoting standard methodologies, tools and processes in support of project delivery across stakeholders
Drive enablement of project and business resources
Ensure proper governance
Drive maturity within the organization
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum knowledge, skills, abilities needed.
Bachelor’s Degree and 7 years of work experience; Masters and 5 years of experience; or a minimum 11 years of work experience in lieu of a degree.
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in one or more ServiceNow Platform areas
8+ years of relevant design and architecture experience
2+ years of experience in ServiceNow Kingston or later releases
2+ years of experience in one or more ServiceNow Platform areas
2+ years of experience as a customer liaison in a technical area
1+ years of experience with the following:
o Documenting ServiceNow standards
o Agile (Scrum)
o Creating system architecture diagrams and documentation for review by both technical and non-technical audiences
Must be US Citizen or US Permanent Resident (Green card holder)
Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Public Trust clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates with these skills will be given preferential consideration.
Prior SSA experience a plus.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience with process flow documentation creation, presentation and conducting trainings.
Experience with implementing DevOps (Test and CI/CD) in a ServiceNow environment
Experience with Oracle and stored procedures using PL/SQL
Experience with designing and implementing REST based API integration services
