Role: Senior QA Engineer – Web3 Applications

Location: New York, Hybrid

 

Experience

  • 10+ years in software testing, with 2+ years in blockchain/ Web3 testing

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute comprehensive test strategies for Web3 applications
  • Validate blockchain transactions, node interactions, and on-chain data flows
  • Develop and maintain automation frameworks for Web3 systems
  • Perform functional, integration, and regression testing across decentralized environments
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure high-quality and defect-free releases
  • Track defects and ensure timely resolution

Mandatory Skills

  • Strong experience in software testing and automation
  • Proven experience testing Web3 or blockchain applications
  • Hands-on experience with on-chain account testing
  • Familiarity with API testing tools and automation frameworks (e.g., Rest Assured, Postman)

Good to Have

  • Knowledge of blockchain networks and transaction lifecycle
  • Understanding of smart contracts (for testing perspective only)
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
