Senior Project & Change Management Lead
Contract role
Location: Downers Grove, IL OR Woodlands, TX (or remote)
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
Lead  ONE initiatives from initiation through sustainment.
Apply hybrid delivery methods, flexing between Agile and Waterfall as required.
Own project plans, milestones, RAID logs, dependencies, and executive reporting.
Coordinate across IT, data, AI, security, and business workstreams.
Ensure delivery aligns to Univar ONE governance, lifecycle standards, and value realization expectations.
Change Management
Embed change management directly into project delivery.
Develop and execute stakeholder engagement, communication, and readiness plans.
Partner with leaders to drive adoption, address resistance, and reinforce new behaviors. Coordinate training and onboarding support. Establish feedback loops and adoption metrics to support sustainment. Stakeholder & Leadership Engagement Act as a trusted partner to sponsors, product owners, and senior leaders. Communicate clearly with executive audiences.
Balance structure with pragmatism in a fast‑moving, AI‑enabled environment.
Required Qualifications
7–10+ years of experience in project, program, or PMO roles.
Proven delivery of complex, cross‑functional technology initiatives.
Strong experience with both Agile and Waterfall delivery.
Scrum certification (CSM, SAFe, or equivalent).
Change certification (Prosci, Kotter, or equivalent).
Demonstrated experience integrating change management into project execution.
Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
Preferred Experience
Data, digital, AI, or advanced analytics initiatives.
Enterprise governance or platform‑based programs.
Expert Jira skills
Commercial, operations, supply chain, or industrial environments.
Ideal Profile

Strong ownership, accountability, and follow‑through.
Outcomes‑focused, but able to work at the task‑level when needed.
Able to influence without authority.
