Position: Senior Oracle XStore POS Developer – Full stack Java and AI

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle XStore POS Developer with strong expertise in Java development, retail point-of-sale (POS) systems, payment integrations, and AI-enabled software engineering to support and enhance healthcare retail and pharmacy operations. The role involves developing, customizing, and maintaining Oracle XStore applications that support patient-facing payment experiences, pharmacy retail transactions, payment processing, and healthcare commerce solutions.
The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise in Oracle XStore and Java technologies with modern AI and automation capabilities to improve development productivity, application reliability, and patient/customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, customize, and support Oracle XStore POS applications for healthcare and pharmacy operations.
- Develop scalable Java-based applications, APIs, and microservices supporting retail and payment workflows.
- Integrate Oracle XStore with payment gateways, tokenization platforms, POS devices, and enterprise healthcare systems.
- Collaborate with business, pharmacy, clinical, and IT stakeholders to deliver innovative retail solutions.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical designs and application enhancements.
- Support quarterly releases, upgrades, production deployments, and Level-3 application support.
- Perform performance tuning, defect resolution, security remediation, and application modernization activities.
- Implement AI-assisted development practices to accelerate coding, testing, documentation, and maintenance.
- Participate in cloud transformation and automation initiatives using modern DevOps practices.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
