Hiring: Senior Java Engineer – GenAI & Microservices

📍 Location: Phoenix, AZ, Charlotte, NC, San Leandro, CA

Core Skill Requirements

• 6–8 years of strong experience in Java development, including proficiency in Spring / Spring Boot.
• 2–3 years of experience with Python, focused on backend or data-driven development.
• Strong experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of Reactive Programming, including WebFlux.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka for event-driven architecture.
• Database expertise in:
  • MongoDB (NoSQL)
  • Oracle (RDBMS)
• Experience with Apache Flink for stream processing and data pipelines.
• Knowledge of GraphQL.

AI / Conversational Platform Exposure

• Strong understanding of Google Dialogflow CX or similar conversational AI frameworks.
• Exposure to:
  • LLMs (Large Language Models)
  • Agentic AI architectures
  • Prompt Engineering
• Familiarity with ADK (Agent Development Kit), Playbooks, or similar agentic frameworks.
• Conceptual understanding of Machine Learning fundamentals and model telemetry.

Additional Skills

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Experience with:
  • Microservices architecture
  • CI/CD pipelines
  • Cloud-native environments
  • OpenShift Container Platform (OCP)
  • Kubernetes
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across engineering and product teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Prior experience in Banking, FinTech, or Digital Assistant platforms is an advantage.
