Senior ETL/SQL Data Tester in NC OR TX locations

Location: Austin, TX OR Charlotte, NC

Note: Candidate must be local to either of the two locations.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in ETL Testing and SQL Testing.
• 12+years of IT experience required
• Advanced SQL skills, including:
  • Complex joins and subqueries
  • Common Table Expressions (CTEs)
  • Window functions
  • Aggregate functions
  • Stored procedures and views
  • Data comparison and reconciliation queries
• Experience testing ETL tools and frameworks such as Informatica, SSIS, Talend, DataStage, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Experience with data warehouse concepts, including fact tables, dimension tables, star schema, and snowflake schema.
• Knowledge of data profiling, data validation, and data quality testing.
• Experience with source-to-target mapping validation and transformation testing.
• Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, ALM, or Azure DevOps.
• Understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and QA methodologies.
