The Salesforce Consultant will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing Salesforce solutions across Revenue Cloud (CPQ & Billing), Sales Cloud, and Marketing platforms (Pardot/Marketo) .
This role focuses on enabling end-to-end Quote-to-Cash and Lead-to-Revenue processes, improving sales effectiveness, automating pricing and billing workflows, and enhancing customer engagement through integrated digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Solution Design:
– Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business processes across sales, pricing, billing, and marketing.
– Design and build requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions.
– Prepare solution design documents, system architecture, and ERDs.
– Map requirements to out-of-the-box capabilities and identify customization needs.
– Guide stakeholders on buy vs build decisions.
Revenue Cloud (CPQ & Billing):
– Configure Salesforce CPQ for complex pricing, discounting, bundling, and approvals.
– Implement Salesforce Billing including invoicing, payment collection, and revenue recognition.
– Design and manage subscription and recurring revenue models, including usage-based products.
– Optimize Quote-to-Cash processes to improve accuracy and reduce cycle times.
– Build advanced logic such as product rules, price rules, automation flows, and guided selling.
Sales Cloud & Marketing:
– Configure Sales Cloud features: Lead Management, Campaigns, Forecasting, Territory Management, and Sales Cadences.
– Implement Marketing automation solutions (Pardot/Marketo).
– Implement AppExchange tools (DocuSign, Conga, Spiff/Xactly, Sales Navigator).
Integration & Architecture:
– Support designing integrations with ERP systems (NetSuite), payment gateways, and tax engines.
– Use REST/SOAP APIs and middleware tools such as MuleSoft or Boomi.
– Ensure secure architecture including SSO.
Automation & Delivery:
– Develop workflows, approval processes, and flows.
– Configure reports and dashboards.
– Prepare runbooks and documentation.
– Conduct user training and support post-go-live enhancements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
– 10+ years of Salesforce experience.
– Strong expertise in Revenue Cloud (CPQ & Billing), Sales Cloud, and Marketing platforms.
– Proven experience in end-to-end implementations.
– Strong understanding of Quote-to-Cash and Lead-to-Revenue processes.
– Hands-on experience with product configuration, pricing, subscriptions, Apex, LWC, and automation flows.
– Knowledge of revenue recognition standards (ASC 606 / IFRS 15).
– Experience with integrations and DevOps practices.
– Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
