Job description:
Lead the ongoing improvement of our business continuity program and help strengthen our technology recovery and crisis preparedness practices.
Maintain a consistent approach for Business Impact Analysis, continuity planning, exercises, follow-up actions, and program reporting.
Work with business and technology partners to understand critical work, recovery priorities, key dependencies, and the resources needed to resume operations.
Use Business Impact Analysis results to guide continuity strategies, recovery priorities, and exercise plans.
Help business teams create, review, and maintain practical continuity plans for disruptions involving people, workplaces, technology, data, or important external providers.
Assess whether current recovery capabilities support business needs, clearly document material gaps, and help leaders decide how those gaps should be addressed
Plan and facilitate tabletop exercises, recovery tests, and other readiness activities that bring business and technology teams together.
Document lessons and agreed actions from exercises and actual events, track progress with responsible teams, and raise issues that require leadership attention.
During significant disruptions, help leaders organize information, coordinate decisions, communicate clearly, and maintain a reliable record of key actions.
Work with vendor management, legal, risk, and business partners to address continuity concerns involving important external providers.
Provide clear reporting on program readiness, recovery gaps, exercise results, follow-up actions, and areas requiring additional support.
