Must-Have Skills
- 8+ years of hands-on Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and Microservices
- Strong experience developing cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure
- Deep expertise in Event-Driven Architecture, distributed systems, and asynchronous processing
- Extensive hands-on Apache Kafka experience:
- Producers, Consumers, Topics, Partitions & Consumer Groups
- Kafka Streams & event processing
- Schema Registry & event versioning
- Message ordering, delivery guarantees & scaling
- Enterprise messaging experience with Kafka, Solace PubSub+, IBM MQ, Azure Service Bus, and Event Hubs
- Strong knowledge of EDA, Pub/Sub, Event Sourcing, CQRS, Saga, DLQ, event replay and recovery
- Experience building high-throughput, low-latency messaging systems
- Strong REST, SOAP, and event-based integration experience
- API security: OAuth 2.0, JWT, secure service-to-service communication

- Design and develop scalable event-driven microservices and messaging solutions
- Build and support enterprise applications using Kafka, Solace, IBM MQ and Azure messaging services

- Ensure security, scalability, resiliency, performance and observability
- Develop unit, integration and performance tests
- Collaborate with architects and technical leads
- Support production deployments and troubleshoot application/messaging issues
- Document architecture, event flows, message contracts and operational procedures
