Role: Program Manager GDPR
Location: Sunnyvale, CA (Onsite)
Duration: Long Term Contract
Role Descriptions:
Responsibilities
⢠Lead end-to-end execution of privacy projects, including planning, tracking, and delivery of key milestones
⢠Partner with Legal, Security, Product, Engineering, and Compliance teams to operationalize privacy requirements
⢠Implement and maintain privacy frameworks aligned with regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and other global laws especially those surrounding the use of AI
⢠Facilitate Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs)
⢠Develop and maintain data inventories, data flow maps, and records of processing activities (RoPA)
⢠Track and manage privacy incidents, ensuring timely escalation and resolution
⢠Support responses to data subject requests (DSARs), audits, and regulatory inquiries
⢠Drive privacy-by-design principles in product development lifecycles
⢠Develop and deliver privacy training and awareness programs across the organization
⢠Monitor evolving regulatory requirements and industry best practices
Minimum Qualifications
⢠5+ years of experience in privacy, data protection, compliance, or related program/project management roles
⢠Strong understanding of global privacy regulations
⢠Experience managing cross-functional projects and working with distributed teams
⢠Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
⢠Excellent stakeholder management abilities
⢠Bachelor’s of Science in Information Systems, Security, or Computer
⢠Science or similar degree or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
⢠Knowledge of data security principles and risk management frameworks
⢠Knowledge of global AI regulatory obligations
⢠Knowledge of global privacy laws
⢠Excellent communication
⢠Ability to balance legal/compliance requirements with business needs
⢠Experience in technology, SaaS, AI frameworks
