Job Title : Sr. Power BI Developer

Location: Jacksonville, FL (onsite)

Duration : Long Term Contract

Visa: USC

Position Overview:

We are looking for a talented Power BI Developer with expertise in DAX formulas, data modeling, and a strong understanding of the Power BI platform. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of developing impactful data visualizations, translating business requirements into optimal analytics solutions, and have strong communication and problem-solving skills. 🔍Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models to support business objectives and decision-making processes.
- Design and implement complex DAX formulas and measures to extract actionable insights from large datasets.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective analytics solutions within Power BI.
- Work iteratively in a team environment, soliciting feedback and incorporating changes to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing.
- Adhere to data visualization best practices to create intuitive and insightful dashboards for end-users.

Act as a subject-matter expert on Power BI capabilities and provide guidance and support to team members as needed.

💻Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Minimum of [7-8] years of experience as a Power BI Developer or in a similar role, with a strong focus on DAX formulas, data modeling, and the Power BI platform.

Proficiency in SQL, with the ability to write complex queries and optimize performance.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Demonstrated ability to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable analytics solutions.
Knowledge of data visualization best practices and a keen eye for design aesthetics.
Experience in the automotive industry or a related field is a plus.
