Job Title : Sr. Power BI Developer
Location: Jacksonville, FL (onsite)
Duration : Long Term Contract
Visa: USC
Looking only local to Florida (need dl from FL)
Position Overview:
We are looking for a talented Power BI Developer with expertise in DAX formulas, data modeling, and a strong understanding of the Power BI platform. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of developing impactful data visualizations, translating business requirements into optimal analytics solutions, and have strong communication and problem-solving skills. Additionally, we value individuals who can collaborate effectively in a team environment and thrive in an iterative development process.
🔍Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models to support business objectives and decision-making processes.
- Design and implement complex DAX formulas and measures to extract actionable insights from large datasets.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective analytics solutions within Power BI.
- Work iteratively in a team environment, soliciting feedback and incorporating changes to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing.
- Adhere to data visualization best practices to create intuitive and insightful dashboards for end-users.
- Act as a subject-matter expert on Power BI capabilities and provide guidance and support to team members as needed.
💻Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of [7-8] years of experience as a Power BI Developer or in a similar role, with a strong focus on DAX formulas, data modeling, and the Power BI platform.
- Proficiency in SQL, with the ability to write complex queries and optimize performance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable analytics solutions.
- Knowledge of data visualization best practices and a keen eye for design aesthetics.
- Experience in the automotive industry or a related field is a plus.
