Oracle RightNow Application Support Engineer
Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid)(Local candidate only )

We are seeking an experienced Oracle RightNow Application Support Engineer to provide production support, maintenance, troubleshooting, and enhancement services for critical customer service applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle RightNow (Oracle Service Cloud), PHP development, and SQL Server backend support. This role will work closely with business users, development teams, and infrastructure teams to ensure application stability, security, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
⢠Provide Level 2/Level 3 application support for Oracle RightNow (Oracle Service Cloud) and PHP-based applications.
⢠Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents within established SLA timelines.
⢠Analyze application logs, system performance, and backend database issues to identify root causes and implement solutions.
⢠Develop and implement application enhancements and bug fixes.
⢠Perform security vulnerability remediation, patching, upgrades, and compliance-related activities.
⢠Support and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployments.
⢠Execute application releases and validate deployments across environments.
⢠Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts for troubleshooting and data analysis.
⢠Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and implement application improvements.
⢠Monitor application health and proactively identify potential issues.
⢠Maintain technical documentation, support procedures, and knowledge base articles.
⢠Participate in on-call support and incident management activities as required.
Required Qualifications
⢠Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
⢠4+ years of experience supporting Oracle RightNow (Oracle Service Cloud).
⢠4+ years of PHP development and support experience.
⢠4+ years of SQL Server database experience.
⢠Strong troubleshooting and production support background.
⢠Experience with application deployment, patching, and release management.
⢠Experience working in Agile environments.
Preferred Qualifications
⢠Experience with .NET technologies.
⢠Exposure to AI-enabled development tools and automation.
⢠Experience with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar technologies.
⢠Experience with cloud-based SaaS platforms.
⢠Oracle RightNow Cloud Service certification preferred.
Nice to Have
⢠Agile/Scrum certification.
⢠Experience with monitoring and observability tools.
⢠Experience supporting customer service or CRM applications.
Duration
Long-term contract with strong extension potential (80% likelihood).
