Job description:
As a Functional Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to collaborate closely with business users and client Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) throughout the project lifecycle. You will facilitate requirement gathering sessions, participate in testing phases including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and coordinate production deployments. Working in tandem with technical teams, you'll ensure that business requirements are translated into functional specifications and technical solutions effectively. Providing regular status updates on project progress to stakeholders will be a key aspect of your role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirement Gathering: Engage with business users and client SMEs to gather and document detailed requirements.
- Testing and UAT: Participate in testing activities, including UAT, to validate system functionality against business requirements.
- Production Deployment: Coordinate and support the deployment of solutions into production environments.
- Collaboration with Technical Teams: Work closely with technical teams to ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions.
- Status Updates: Provide timely and accurate updates on project milestones, issues, and risks to stakeholders.
- Documentation: Maintain documentation related to functional requirements, test cases, and deployment procedures.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to enhancing the overall efficiency and effectiveness of project delivery.

- Experience in functional analysis and requirement gathering within a project-based environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Familiarity with software testing methodologies and experience in UAT coordination.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality, business-aligned solutions.
- Knowledge of project management practices and tools is advantageous.
