Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Enterprise Data Management (EDM) Lead Consultant to lead enterprise-wide metadata governance and Oracle EDM Cloud implementations for strategic client engagements. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Oracle Cloud EPM and Oracle EDM, with a proven ability to design scalable governance frameworks, manage complex hierarchies, and drive end-to-end implementation initiatives.
This role requires strong leadership, client-facing communication, and hands-on implementation experience across Oracle EPM ecosystems. The consultant will act as a trusted advisor to business and technical stakeholders while ensuring high-quality metadata governance, data integrity, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end Oracle Enterprise Data Management (EDM) implementations from requirement gathering through deployment and post-production support.

Define and implement enterprise metadata governance standards and best practices.

Serve as the primary Oracle EDM subject matter expert for client engagements.

Support Oracle Cloud EPM integration initiatives including Planning, FCCS, EPBCS, ARCS, and related applications.

Build and maintain metadata synchronization processes across multiple EPM applications and source systems.

Drive data quality, validation, hierarchy consistency, and governance controls across enterprise platforms.

Conduct workshops, solution demonstrations, and client advisory sessions.

Troubleshoot metadata issues, workflow failures, and hierarchy inconsistencies.

Mentor junior consultants and contribute to internal capability development and best practices.

Prepare functional and technical design documentation, governance policies, and implementation artifacts.

Coordinate with offshore/nearshore teams and support delivery management activities.
Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Enterprise Data Management (EDMCS / EDM Cloud Service).

Extensive experience with Oracle Cloud EPM applications.

Deep understanding of metadata governance, master data management, and enterprise hierarchy management.

Experience designing and managing complex hierarchies, dimensions, node types, and workflow approvals.

Strong knowledge of Oracle EPM architecture and integrations.

Experience leading full lifecycle Oracle EDM implementations.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to lead client discussions and present solutions to leadership teams.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience integrating Oracle EDM with ERP, Data Warehouse, or MDM systems.

Knowledge of data governance frameworks and enterprise data quality initiatives.

Experience working in large enterprise transformation programs.

Exposure to automation, scripting, or API-based metadata integrations is a plus.

Oracle Cloud EPM certifications preferred.
