Position Summary
Lead the end-to-end design, planning, testing, and execution of the network separation and migration program. The role owns network architecture, migration execution, application connectivity, cutover planning, and stakeholder coordination across infrastructure, security, endpoint, and application workstreams.

Migration Strategies: In what scenarios would you choose a “Big Bang” cutover versus a phased rollout or parallel run?
Topology Documentation: How do you ensure the as-is and to-be network topologies are accurately documented and that team members understand their roles before maintenance windows?
BGP & Routing: What BGP attributes do you manipulate to influence traffic paths during multi-homed or multi-datacenter migrations?
Segmentation: How do you approach the migration of security zones, Access Control Lists (ACLs), and firewall rules to ensure the new network remains segmented and secure? How will you identify and map “hidden” or hardcoded IP dependencies across different tiers of the application?
How will you conduct pre-cutover testing and dry runs to validate throughput, latency, and firewall policies before the actual move?
