Job Description :
We are looking for an experienced Onsite NetSuite Technical Consultant to work closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and offshore development teams. The role requires strong hands‑on NetSuite technical expertise, client‑facing skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Onsite & Client Engagement
- Act as the primary technical point of contact at the client location.
- Participate in business discussions, requirement gathering, and solution design workshops.
- Provide technical guidance to business users and functional consultants.
- Coordinate with offshore development teams for implementation and delivery.
- Conduct daily/weekly status meetings and provide progress updates.
NetSuite Technical Development
- Design, develop, and deploy NetSuite customizations using SuiteScript 2.x / 2.1:
- User Event Scripts
- Client Scripts
- Scheduled Scripts
- Map/Reduce Scripts
- RESTlets
- Develop and maintain Advanced PDF/HTML templates (Invoices, Credit Memos, Sales Orders, etc.).
- Build custom records, fields, workflows, and saved searches.
- Work on NetSuite integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware where applicable.
- Ensure performance optimization and adherence to NetSuite best practices.
Implementation & Support
- Support end‑to‑end NetSuite implementations, enhancements, and rollouts.
- Handle UAT support, production deployments, and post‑go‑live hypercare.
- Troubleshoot production issues, data inconsistencies, and script errors.
- Support data migration, CSV imports, and data validation activities.
SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF)
- Use SDF for version control, deployments, and environment management.
- Manage bundles, custom objects, and deployment pipelines.
- Ensure smooth promotions across Sandbox, QA, and Production environments.
Documentation & Governance
- Prepare and maintain:
- Technical design documents
- Deployment documents
- Configuration guides
- Post‑production support documents.
- Follow change management and approval workflows.
- Ensure compliance with development and quality standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Strong experience with NetSuite ERP technical development.
- Expert knowledge of SuiteScript 2.x / 2.1
- Hands‑on experience with Advanced PDF/HTML.
- Experience with SDF (SuiteCloud Development Framework).
- Understanding of NetSuite modules:
- Order‑to‑Cash
- Procure‑to‑Pay
- AR/AP
- Inventory & Fulfillment
- Integration experience using REST/SOAP and external systems (preferred).
- Good knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and SQL‑like querying (Saved Searches).
Soft Skills
- Strong client‑facing and communication skills.
- Ability to explain technical solutions to non‑technical users.
- Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Experience working in onsite–offshore delivery models.
- Leadership and mentoring capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- NetSuite Technical Certification (SuiteFoundation / SuiteCloud Developer).
- Experience in multi‑subsidiary, OneWorld environments.
- Exposure to Agile and Waterfall delivery models.
Experience in industries such as Manufacturing, Logistics, Waste Management, or Healthcare
