Mobile Tester – (Test Automation)
ā¢ Experience with Appium for Android/iOS (including Appium 2.x architecture and W3C WebDriver protocol)
ā¢ Knowledge of Android UIAutomator2, Espresso integration, and iOS XCUITest
ā¢ Experience with TestNG, JUnit, PyTest, POM, data driven, keyword driven, and BDD (Cucumber/Gherkin)
ā¢ Strong programming skills in Java and Python with OOP, exception handling, collections, and file handling
ā¢ API automation experience using RestAssured or Python Requests; content/authentication/user profile validation
ā¢ Media streaming mobile app testing experience (live TV, VOD, ads, content, news feeds, alerts, localization)
ā¢ Expertise in UX scenarios including login, subscription, paywall, background/foreground behavior
ā¢ Performance testing skills (app launch, buffering, network switching)
ā¢ Real device and emulator testing (Android Studio, Xcode Simulator)
ā¢ Experience with BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, and multi OS/device coverage
ā¢ CI/CD integration using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI; experience with Maven/Gradle
ā¢ Version control experience with Git
ā¢ Test execution strategies: smoke, regression, nightly, parallel
ā¢ Experience with Zephyr, TestRail, Jira/Xray, JIRA defect lifecycle, RCA, and reporting tools (Extent, Allure)
ā¢ Mobile testing skills: gestures, push notifications, install/upgrade, permissions, network throttling, offline mode, interrupts
ā¢ Basic performance/security knowledge (launch time, memory/CPU monitoring, secure storage, token handling, OWASP Mobile Top 10 awareness)
ā¢ Agile/Scrum experience: ceremonies, sprint planning, shift left, collaboration with Dev, PO, DevOps; strong documentation/communication
ā¢ Optional: Kotlin or Swift basics, accessibility testing, AI assisted testing tools, analytics validation (Adobe/Firebase), logging tools (Splunk/Kibana)
