Mechanical Design Engineer

Creo CAD exp must

Education & Experience Required: 

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or relevant field required. 

3-4 years’ experience required.

Technical Skills (Required)

Knowledge of cooling systems technology and various application methods; ability to

develop and provide solutions to significant technical challenges.

Generates specifications for parts or components with Creo CAD software.

Reuses design components via reusable libraries following standard procedures.

Uses Creo CAD to perform intermediate drafting such as wire frames, solid objects and

array of objects, including but not limited to fabrications, castings and modular assemblies.

Performs routine changes to computerized schematics or drawings.

Creates views of objects in 2 and 3 dimensions; creates perspective drawings and

orthogonal views. Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing

(GD&T)

Soft Skills (Required)

Strong verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and

interpersonal skills

Desired 

Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent

objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and

time allocation. 

Disqualifiers/Red Flags:

Low Creo experience

Poor communication skills
